HEADLESS
BLOCK
Most, if not all HLSO shrimp, is packed in frozen blocks with up 50% ice. While this form lacks the convenience we see with other forms of shrimp, an advantage is its longevity. Block frozen shrimp, stored correctly, can last for years. HLSO block frozen shrimp is a favorite among distributors during warm weather as it can be easily transported with minimal ‘sweating’ of the cartons.
P&D TAIL
ON & OFF
A peeled and deveined shrimp, is a raw tail-on or off shrimp that has not been cooked. The 5th through 2nd shell segments, and the large intestine are removed. The 1st segment and tail are left on or taken off the shrimp depending on whether it is prepared as tail-on or tail-off. This product form is mostly used by restaurants due to is ease of use and minimal preparation.
EASY
PEEL
Easy peel shrimp is just what the name implies, shrimp that is easy to peel. An easy peel shrimp is a raw shell-on shrimp with a knife cut along the back of the shrimp from the 1st to 5th shell segments. During the processing of the shrimp, the large intestine is removed. The ease of cooking an easy peel shrimp makes it ideal for the retail and grocery market.

We maintain stock levels of each of our products in New Jersey, Florida and Texas. For spot buy orders, we can arrange for local pick up and warehouse transfers at our three storage and distribution facilities. We are able to deliver nationwide, through the partnership with our multiple transportation providers.
